Our favourite sandals! Salt-Water sandals are a flat sandal that are comfortable, durable and beautiful.

The first model to come out of Walter Hoy’s workshop in 1944, the original Salt-Water Sandal is defined by its little way stitched rubber sole and plaited leather upper. All Salt-Waters come with rust proof buckles, can be worn in the water and can be handwashed with a gentle detergent.

The original Salt-Water sandal is very roomy. Fits comfortably wide. Before you put them on for the first time, stretch out the toe straps and gently bend the sole to ease. Best fitted with toes behind the stitch line. DO NOT oversize for children with the hope they will last longer.

To get the best fit, please use this Salt-water have their own sizes that do not exactly correspond to UK or US sizes, so we recommend using the size guide always. We include approximations to UK sizes as a guide only.
